This is my unique soft slab project that is 5.75 by 4 inches. My intention was for it to be just a rock looking cylinder, but then I saw the people making trees and I wished I would've chosen the tree print, so I just decided to add branches and a base. I'm not exactly sure what you would call it but it's consists of a dark blue glaze on the inside and in the cracks and a clear glaze covering the rest.
This is my Hard Slab Box project and it is 6 inches by 3.5 inches. I added an Aztec print to it, and put in cuts to look aged and trimmed the rim to follow the theme. I glazed it with a yellow because I felt like it fit the theme. The inside is overall pretty smooth rather than the cuts, and the outside it's bumpy due to the Aztec print. This was my very first project I did this semester, and I would say one of my best. It's a pinch pot made turtle and sits at 7 inches by 3.5 inches. It's has a forest green glazed body and the shell is a clear glaze. I added horns, buldging eyes, a baseball hat, and bumps on the shell to add 3D affects. My coil pot project that I made is 6 inches by 4 inches. It consists of about 8 coils but of you were to count the space where no coils are it would be around 10 or so. There's 8 swirls that wrap all the way around to add positive space, and around the rim as you can see is the negative space. It's only glazed in one glaze which happened to be a common one used by me, dark blue. |
