This Planter is 5 inches by 3.5 inches. I glazed it in a shadow green glaze, which is one of my personal favorites. It has a smooth texture all throughout, and the glaze makes it have a nice shine. I was very pleased with this planter.
This Lidded Project happens to be 4 inches by 5 inches and is glazed in a shadow green. The shadow green glaze may be my favorite glaze that has been offered this semester. The texture is very smooth all around, and I am very happy with the turn out of this project. This Lidded Project happens to be 4 inches by 5 inches and is glazed in a shadow green. The shadow green glaze may be my favorite glaze that has been offered this semester. The texture is very smooth all around, and I am very happy with the turn out of this project. This extra credit project is 4 inches by 3 inches. In fact I found this project in my cupboard dried up with my initials on it so I decided to glaze it and use it as an extra credit project. It's properly footed and everything so I glazed it in the sand color glaze which I actually happen to like a lot and I wish I would've used it in the past. This extra credit monkey is 4.5 inches by 7 inches if you measure from ear to ear. When I was glazing this monkey I initially glazed it with a what was labeled red glaze on the head and a labeled clear glaze on the face but it turned out blue and green. Really it's not that big of a deal it still turned out decent. This cup that I made is 4 inches by 3.5 inches and is personally one of my favorite projects that I have made this semester. I decided to carve in a hand with it's thumb up on the side because it's something I always doodle on my papers, and I thought it would look cool on this cup. It is glazed inside and out with a dark dark blue that I actually happen to like a lot more than I thought it would! The process of making and actually completing my first bowl was quite the struggle if I were to say so myself. My first attempt I was satisfied with, but was lost in the complication of somebody claiming it to be theirs. Then my second attempt, I made it on a Friday so I bagged it and put wet clay in the inside, and when I came in to foot it the bag was off and it was much too dry to foot. So finally, my third attempt I was able to complete the bowl and here it is. It has a smooth texture on the inside and out, and is glazed in a new yellow glaze that I had never used before and I am satisfied with it. This bowl is 2.5 by 5.25 inches. This is my Vase, it is 4.5 by 2.5 inches. The outside has a relatively rough outside, which started off being an accident, but I decided to apply the texture throughout the entire outside of the Vase. The outside is glazed in a forest green, while the inside is a new Teal glaze that I had never used before but decided that I really like it. This is my bowl that is 7 inches by 3 inches that I made on the wheel. The outside of this bowl has a very smooth texture to it, while the inside has a sort of ringed and relatively bumpy but smooth texture. I decided to glaze the inside a deep forest green, and the outside a dark blue. The footing job I did I also glazed a forest green to contrast the inside of the bowl but the dark blue glaze dripped onto it causing it to mix into a greenish blue color. This is the first wheel project I have ever made, and it is a 4.25 by 2.75 inch cylinder. However due to how dry it was the day prior to creating it, I could never get around to footing it which was a disappointment. It's glazed inside and outside with a forest green glaze. Again inside and outside it has a very smooth texture all through out. This was my choice project for the first quarter, and I decided to make a pig. This pig is 4.5 by 4 inches and was created for the use of a piggy bank. It's glazed in a teal color, but it turned out looking like a lighter blue. The texture all around it is very smooth. |
